Sri Sathya Sai Educare Vidya Pratishthan is a residential school with no class 4 employees. Peon, sweeper, driver, cook even there is no one to wash the utensils and clothes. All work is either performed by children or by the teachers of the School. The School not only is providing free boarding and lodging but is also providing free education, free uniforms and free books. All free. Even the children after completing 10th class go to other schools and this School pays them till they complete their studies and help them get employment. Old Students (alumni) too want to pay back to this School by doing work in the kitchen and helping the School in its construction.
The main source of income is donations by a few Sai Devotees on a monthly basis. Even they help the School in kind too. Some provide free rations, school uniforms, books and other items worth for the School. Anyone who wishes to see the School in function is welcome to visit. Please come and see yourself, how the School is managing without any permanent source of income.
Mainly the School emphasizes values and wants its students to be good as well as great. Till date the School has done community service too. The School has purchased a funeral van (Sri Sathya Sai Sawarg Vahini) to cater for the urgent needs of society during the covid time. One ambulance too was purchased with the contribution of devotees. Although the School caters to first-generation children, parents of most of them are illiterate and doing farming or other labour work.
